BHE
Formed in 1971, BHE Services (Bolton) Ltd soon became one of the Northwest's first major gas maintenance companies. Apart from maintaining public sector and housing association's housing, which is a very important part of BHE, home owners can also use BHE for their central heating and plumbing installations, maintenance and repairs.
BHE have 60 gas engineers and 15 office staff, and it is thanks to good management and good management tools like AccuServ that they are able to take on more work without increasing staffing levels and other overheads.
BHE were impressed with InterNETalia detailed knowledge of the heating industry and their understanding of the complexities of gas servicing on large social housing contracts.
InterNETalia worked closely with the IT staff at Wigan council to produce a real time xml interface between their AccuServ job management software and Wigan Northgate SX3 housing system.
Amendments were also made to the standard AccuServ product to cope with BHE working practices, proving InterNETalias ability to improve and adapt their products to an ever changing market place.
Wigan Council maintain in excess of 30,000 properties, and AccuServ has been able to easily cope with 4 years of gas servicing jobs, as well as associated breakdowns. With several other contracts running on AccuServ, and with each job having multiple events, there are in excess of 1,500,000 records in the database, with no perceived performance degradation.
BHE and InterNETalia worked together to further developing AccuServs electronic CP12 (eCP12) to enhance BHEs offering to Wigan, and currently, approcimately 300 breakdown and gas servicing jobs are being completed via the PDA devices.
