Job Costing

AccuServ is one of the few systems in the market place that can give you actual jobs costing on each and every job.

Most systems will allow you to accumulate costings against a contract, and AccuServ can do this too, but we can also provide you with detailed costing down to job level.

This is an essential requirement for true open book/partnership contracts.

The costs are also broken down in to three sperate elements, Matrerials, Labour, Sub Contractor and Overheads, which allows you to report on the cost of sub-contractors on the contract, or to prove to your clients that you are not making excessive use of sub-contractors on their contract.

The system can be configured to give give a warning if the costs of a job are within a percentage of the sales value, for example less than 10% margin, and when the costs exceed sales value.

Because we are able to cost down to indivdual job level, it is then possible to analyse cost in many ways, for example, per operative, per trade, per contract, per job type/priority or per property.

Sophisticated WIP reports are avaialble, and these can include "red costs" where an estimated cost has been provided when the supplier invoice has not been received.

If your sub-contractors are paid on a percentage of the SOR codes used on a job, we are able to acurately estimate your expected cost for that job, and also validate the sub-contractors supplier invoice when it is presented for payment.
