Shepherds Bush

Shepherds Bush Housing Group owns and manages almost 5000 properties in eight London boroughs: Hammersmith and Fulham, Kensington and Chelsea, Ealing, Hounslow, Richmond, Hillingdon, Brent and Harrow. Their portfolio includes 700 leasehold properties and over 320 bed spaces for direct and agency managed supported housing. They also manage over 700 privately leased properties for those requiring temporary accommodation. Shepherds Bush Housing Association was formed in 1968 - its first home was in Hammersmith Grove, W6.

Shepherds Bush Housing Group (SBHA) have formed a partnership with CMS, a contracting?? company made up of three smaller companies.

Shepherds Bush Housing GroupSBHA and CMS share the same AccuServ system, and both parties are able to monitor all repairs information. They now use AccuServ to keep track of all repairs cost and can show improved efficiencies by being able to measure their own and CMS performance.

A true partnership!

SBHA have brought the gas servicing and repairs back in to their control as well, which means a fully integrated repairs system. The huge benefit of all the contractors, call centre and clients sharing the same system comes when a property they have been unable to carry out the gas safety check (CP12) calls to have the sink unblocked, they are able to ensure the gas service is booked on the same appointment slot, and this they believe this will help them acheive the 100% compliance the Housing Corporation require.

Handheld technology is used to provide electronic CP12 (eCP12) and this technology has been rolled out to operatives across all trades. Post inspections and estate surveys will also be implemented on AccuServ and the handheld solution.

Adrian Wilgoss, Head of Maintenance comments: “As well as controlling our repairs and void work, AccuServ has enabled us to report on actual asset costings, by property, schemes, blocks and landlords where we are managing properties for third parties. The cost information along with exceptional KPI reporting puts us in total control.
